Canfield OH is a small suburban city in Mahoning County located about ten miles southwest of Youngstown. It is a beautiful city with a small town charm. Its primary architectural style is Classic Revival.

The Canfield Fair was founded in 1846 and is Ohio’s biggest county fair. It attracts visitors all over the state. The fair is held for six days every year,in late August or early September.

2. Canfield Fairgrounds

Canfield Fairgrounds,a 353 acre piece of land,hosts the Canfield Fair for a week every summer. It is the largest county fair in Ohio and features a variety of events,including dog shows,5k runs,and hayrides. There are also many hotels and restaurants on the fairgrounds. The White House Fruit Farm is located there,and is famous for its blueberry donuts and family-friendly events.

A 4-H member gave money raised from the sale his market hog at the fair in the last month to fund the construction of the junior fair building. Campbell reports that the fair board has already raised $2.1million of the $3million it needs to finish phase one of event center.

The fairboard has a strong commitment to making the event center a reality,he says. They’ve already made significant improvements,such as upgrading the sanitary systems and building roofs. They’re planning a new addition to the front of the building,which would include restrooms and meeting rooms.

3. Canfield Country Club
